Institute of Asphalt Technology
The Institute of Asphalt Technology is a professional body for those working in the field of asphalt technology or interested in asphalt or bitumen.
Both SCI and the IAT recognise the importance of sharing and keeping their memberships abreast of changes and news within the industry.
The SCI Construction Materials Group, in particular, has worked with the Institute of Asphalt Technology on a range of successful events such as Cases for and against Hot Mix Road Surfacing, Road Maintenance Treatments and the Oct 2011 event Pavement Surface Texture - Fact or Friction?
