LeSueur Memorial Award
LeSueur Memorial Award - Established 1955
The LeSueur Memorial Award is given for developing technical excellence, in either a university/research institute or industrial setting in Canada. There must be a benefit to Canada in a chemical-based industry. For the purposes of this award, 'industry' includes not only traditional chemical companies that focus on chemical manufacture and distribution, but also companies involved in coatings, crop protection, environmental services, food, pharmaceuticals, plastics, synthetic fibres and pulp and paper. Although some of the work can have been completed outside Canada, the recipient must have a strong Canadian connection. Read more on Ernest LeSueur.
