Bristol and South West Student Prizes:

Qualification: Three prizes are awarded annually to the best students on the four-year 'Chemistry with Industrial Placement' Course at the University of Bristol. In the April of their third (placement) year  all members of this cohort return to Bristol to make a 15 minute presentation on their placement at the Rothwell Symposium. These are judged by their academic supervisors, industrial supervisors and invited members of the Bristol and South West Committee. The combined scores for each student also count 4% towards their degree.

Description: A certificate, a monetary award, and one year's free membership of SCI.

Presented At: The awards are presented in their fourth year at a ceremony in the autumn term at the start of a lecture meeting in the School of Chemistry at the University of Bristol.
