Upcoming Conference by the European Commission's JRC: 'Scientific support for growth, jobs and sustainability: the example of the eco-industries'

The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) will be holding a conference entitled 'Scientific support for growth, jobs and sustainability: the example of the eco-industries' on 15 May 2012, in Brussels.

The aim of the conference is to indentify where scientific support is needed to strengthen Europe's eco-industries as a source of growth and jobs.

The conference will be organised in five sessions discussing the main sectors concerned by eco-industries. The sessions will consist of short presentations given by high-level representatives from science and industry, and will be followed by an open discussion.
