SCI also offers a number of Student Membership benefits.

What's included?

Agreements with Academic Partner Universities vary: in some cases, your university may have agreed to pay your fees. In most cases, you are eligible to pay a heavily discounted student membership fee thanks to the partnership agreement. For details of your own university's terms, see below.

Which universities?

  • Birmingham
    University will pay for Chemistry Department students only; all others pay £10 one-year membership for themselves

  • Cambridge
    All students pay for themselves,  £10 one-year membership.

  • Dublin City University
    University will pay for Chemistry Department postgraduates (first year only); all others pay £10 one-year membership for themselves.

  • Duchy College
    All students pay for themselves,  £10 one-year membership.

  • Manchester
    All students pay for themselves,  £10 one-year membership.

  • Newcastle
    University will pay for Chemical Engineering postgraduates only; all others pay £10 one-year membership for themselves.

  • Oxford
    All students pay for themselves,  £10 one-year membership.

  • Sheffield
    University will pay for Chemistry undergraduates only; all others pay £10 one-year membership for themselves.

  • Warwick
    All students pay for themselves,  £10 one-year membership.

  • Wiltshire College
    All students pay for themselves,  £10 one-year membership.

  • York
    All students pay for themselves,  £10 one-year membership.
