Chair's Message

Welcome to the SCI Health and Safety Technical Interest Group webpages.

There has been much discussion in the public arena of occupational and consumer health and safety. The Committee recognises that more dialogue with both colleagues in the industry and the general public is required to further the understanding and development of health and safety issues.

To this end, we are planning several evening meetings which will be open to the public on the many health and safety issues that face us today. Details of these upcoming events will be posted on the Group's calendar of events - keep visiting regularly to receive the latest update. And for Members without access to the Internet, details will be published in SCI's regular bulletin, SCI Members' News.
