The IEX Conferences have long been known as the Cambridge Conferences and the venue has always been popular with delegates. As previous attendees of the IEX Conferences will know, Cambridge is a delightful small city which has been the home to Cambridge University for many hundreds of years. The city has a long history, being founded in the first century, and it still retains the atmosphere of a country market town although it is also the centre for many high technology industries. The city has much to offer the visitor including beautiful colleges and churches, famous museums and art galleries and numerous open spaces.

As Britain is also hosting the Olympic Games in 2012, in order to avoid transport and accommodation problems, the conference date has been moved to September.

On this occasion the conference will be held at Queens' College, which is located near the centre of the city. Queens' provides modern lecture theatres equipped with audio visual facilities for parallel sessions and for the planned technical training programme. Facilities are also provided for poster sessions and an industrial exhibition area. Adequate socialising areas are available and in the view of the Organising Committee, Queens' provides an excellent combination of facilities for this modern working conference.
