Young Lipid Scientist Award 2015 - apply by 8 May

Established in 2014, the Young Lipid Scientist award recognises excellence and emerging talent in research related to lipids, in any field across the physical and life sciences and engineering. Example areas include (but are not restricted to) neuroscience, digestion and metabolism, crystallisation of triacylglycerols, functioning of phospholipid membranes, compositional analysis, processing and disease prevention.

Applications for the 2015 award are now open. Please note that only applicants currently studying for a PhD in the UK or who are UK citizens can apply.

Applicants should submit a 300 word abstract of their research on a lipids-related theme to Nadine.Cameron@soci.org by the closing date of 8 May 2015.
