Rideal Travel Bursaries are offered by the Sir Eric Rideal Trust (managed jointly by the RSC and SCI) twice a year to promising academic research workers in the general field of colloid and surface science to attend conferences and/or visit relevant research institutions.
Submit your application by 15 April 2015 for your chance to secure a grant of up to £500 to assist with travel, subsistence and conference registration. Awards will be made on a competitive basis and are currently invited from PhD students and postdoctoral researchers attending conferences between 1 July and 31 December 2015.
Please remember to submit your reference letters by the deadline and ensure that you are either an SCI* or RSC Member.
Please note, if you are applying for a bursary to attend a conference between 1 January and 30 June applications will re-open in the autumn, with a deadline of 15 October 2015.
