Are you eligible for a Rideal bursary?
Financial assistance available to promising research workers
 The Sir Eric Rideal Trust annually offers financial assistance to promising research workers in the general field of colloid and surface science to attend conferences and/or to visit relevant research institutions.
Applications for travel bursaries are now invited from scientists and academics aged between 25 and 35 for travel from 1 June 2006 to 31 May 2007.
Preference will normally be given to those wishing to travel outside their country of residence, especially if they wish to work in a laboratory abroad. Awards of up to £300 will be made, on a competitive basis, to assist with travel and/or subsistence and/or conference registration fees.
Payment of the award will be made on receipt of a report on the conference/visit.
