Applications for food engineering fellowship
Grant of up to £6000 available for Seligman APV fellowship
Applications for the Seligman APV fellowship in food engineering are invited from graduates or equivalent worldwide, under the age of 35 years, who are normally resident outside the UK and who are involved in food engineering in their home countries. This is an excellent opportunity to study in one or more of the UK’s renowned centres of food engineering teaching and research from between three and six months with a grant of up to £6000.
The Seligman APV Trust is administered by SCI. Food engineering activity began in SCI in 1881 and lead to the foundation of the SCI Food Engineering Panel in 1963. The Panel then became the Food Engineering Group in 1991. SCI also offers bursaries that are appropriate for other food disciplines.
Applicants must state clearly what their achievements have been to date and what they hope to gain from the fellowship for themselves, their organisation and their country.
To download the application form visit the SCI online awards book or e-mail: awards@soci.org.
Completed application forms and appropriate references must be received by
