Its good to log on
(to www.soci.org)
Many SCI Technical and Business Interest Group and International and Regional Group pages are in the public domain,
but there are benefits to logging on
Growing
numbers of pages on SCIs web site are now publicly available,
so Members do not have to log on to see them. But there are
plenty of goodies available for those who do log on.
For a start, Members can gain access to the full contents
of Chemistry & Industry magazine, and can search
the archives going back to 1 January 2000.
The web team has now put more of SCIs Technical and Business Interest Group and International and Regional Group
pages in the public domain. Technical Interest Groups refer to subject groups
within the chemicals industry such as Agriculture and Environment .
The new pages now show all the events and awards linked to
the Group, and a taster of each news item. But
you still need to log on to get the full content of the news
pages, as well as minutes and agendas, and reports on conferences
and other events.
More results in 'search'
A fuller search facility is also possible when you log on,
as more pages are included in the total of pages available
to be searched.
Members can also renew their SCI Membership online, update
their details, join additional Groups and buy journals.
Registering is easy, just use your e-mail address. Let the
web team know if you change it.
