Where do you work?
University of Westminster, London, UK
What is your job there?
I am a PhD student, researcher and teacher. My research
description is to investigate the use of molecular biotechnology
techniques to differentiate between glycosylation patterns
in polymeric compounds.
The aim of the research is for creating novel tools
in the analysis of cancer cells, recombinant proteins
and development of therapeutic strategies. I shall also
be helping teach in laboratory demonstrations and tutorials
for undergraduate students for six hours per week throughout
my course at Westminster.

Why did you join SCI?
To increase my awareness of the opportunities in industry
and, more importantly, to contribute to a valuable organisation
which plays a vital role in both academia and industry.
What would you like to have invented?
The rocket widget it pours a perfect pint every time.
Who is your hero?
Nelson Mandela the best interpretation of hope.
What is your measure of success?
The achievements of our pre-descendants set the tone and the
tempo for our future goals. Therefore, my success can be measured
by the difference in time from where I began, and where I
will be in the future.
