What is your job there?
Postgraduate student working on ‘The synthesis of transition metal complexes for molecular electronics’.

Why did you join the SCI?
I was awarded the Messel Scholarship in 2003.

What would you like to have invented?
I would love to have discovered DNA, and invented the technology used in forensics.

What is your measure of success?
Happiness and self-satisfaction.

What is your motto in life?
Work hard but be happy

What is your favourite holiday destination?
Canada.

With whom would you most like to spend an evening in serious discussion?
Galileo Galilei.

What is your funniest joke?
What’s pink and fluffy? Pink fluff. Sorry, that really is the best I can do!

What is the best website you have visited lately?
www.yetisports.org. I found a very simple game on this site which amused me for quite a while!

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Try your best – you can’t do any better than that.
