Conference background:
In this meeting renowned experts from academia and industry
in the UK and worldwide describe important aspects of colloid
and interface science and nanotechnology relating to the cosmetic
industry, providing both background information as well as
more recent findings. The meeting covers new raw materials,
formulating tools, dispersion and emulsion science, processing
and engineering, characterisation and fundamental understanding
of cosmetic and personal care products.
The meeting is aimed at anyone interested or working in the
cosmetic and colloid fields in both industry and academic
capacities. It should be valuable to anyone working in one
of these fields who is interested in furthering their knowledge
in the other, whilst also being informative to experts familiar
with both fields. In addition, those working in the related
areas of cosmeceuticals and pharmaceuticals should benefit.
