4-5 February 2008, Bradford, UK

nanoThis two day meeting brought together a range of top speakers showcasing state of the art approaches to nanoparticle science and applications.

A number of complementary approaches to the synthesis, measurement and utilisation of nanoparticles with controlled size and shape are beginning to emerge. These are at differing stages of development, all the way from milligram scale academic projects to multi-gram industrial pilot plants. This meeting showcased the UK's most exciting research in the production, processing and applications of nanoparticles (and nanomaterials), with a view to their fundamental chemistries, property measurement, formulation/arrangement and latterly, their commercial exploitation.
