The May issue of SCI Members’ News reviews the Yorkshire and the Humber Group’s successful lecture and networking event held in Leeds last month, as well as the Fine Chemicals Group’s annual Graduate Symposia for Organic Chemistry.
The issue also looks forward to Biology for chemists residential course, to be held in Nottingham on 23-24 June.

New horticulture group launched
SCI has set up a new horticultural technical interest group to join its already impressive list of specialist groups.
‘This is an important area that was just waiting to be filled and is a great opportunity for SCI to take the lead in promoting all aspects of horticulture on a commercial basis to as wider network as possible,’ says SCI chief executive Andrew Ladds.
