Newswatch: JSFA still
making headlines
SCIs
Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture continued
to amass press-coverage during February, thanks to two papers
with distinctly foody themes.
An investigation into sensory properties of potatoes grown
organically and conventionally, by Dr Matt Kleinhenz of Ohio
State University, was a hit with the trade press. And research
into a novel way of deducing the real impact of foods on the
human body, proposed by John Monro (left) of the Crop Research
Institute in New Zealand, was covered extensively online.
A story in Chemistry & Industry provoked interest
towards the months end, describing a rather luxurious
development in audio entertainment loudspeakers that
contain parts made of diamond!
All SCI press-releases can be viewed in the SCI online press
