Jon Poole
Director of Business Development and Deputy CEO
 Jon Poole was appointed Director of Business Development and Deputy Chief Executive in July 2006.
Jon has considerable organisational and people development experience, having moved to SCI from running his own development consultancy business. Initially he followed a career in the financial services sector before focusing his career towards leadership development in this arena.
Running his consultancy business, Jon gained considerable experience coaching senior executives in many high-performing and well-known organisations. He also specialised in supporting organisations to develop, both in terms of strategy planning and also in the design and facilitation of organisational development programmes.
Jon has an understanding of the not-for-profit sector, not only from a professional stand-point but also from personal involvement in this sector.
Jon lives with his wife and two children in Finchley, North London where, in his spare time, he enjoys playing in a small jazz quartet. He also has a keen interest in garden design – an interest which he pursued more seriously a few years ago when he ran a garden design business.
