SCI seeks Insight
Working group to prepare third Insight paper on product safety testing
SCI is about to start preparing the third in the Insight series of position papers, covering ‘product safety testing’. The paper will draw on the expertise and knowledge of SCI members and their contact networks and aims to provide a concise and informed summary of all of the key developments in the area, from detergents and concrete to food and pharmaceuticals.
A working group is to be established to focus on the research and writing of the paper, and SCI would like to hear from any members involved in product safety testing who have a good knowledge of the science, technology and legal aspects of work in this area.
The second Insight paper, on science education in the UK, received extensive media coverage in the UK. If you are interested in participating please e-mail your details to publications@soci.org.
