The Sir Eric Rideal Trust offers travel bursaries biannually to promising academic research workers in the general field of colloid and surface science to attend conferences or visit relevant research institutions.
Awards of up to £250 will be granted for European conferences and up to £500 for non European travel/conference fees.
Payment of the award is given on receipt of a conference report and receipts for travel expenses will be required. Applicants must either be residents in the UK or travelling to the UK for their conference, and must be members of either SCI or RSC.
