A distinguished career award in Colloid & Interface science

The Sir Eric Rideal (Founder's) Lecture is a senior award recognising career-long distinguished contributions to colloid and interface science and to the furtherance of the discipline in the UK.

Nominations are now invited for this award. Proposers and seconders must be members of either the SCI Colloid & Surface Chemistry Group or the RSC Colloid & Interface Science Group. There is no requirement for candidates to be members of either group. The deadline for nominations is 1 March 2015.

Nominees need not have been based in the UK necessarily, but, if not, they will have exerted a widely recognised influence on the UK colloid and interface science community in one way or another and be well known to it.

The winner will be announced in April 2015 and the Lecture will be given at a dedicated mini-symposium to be held in or near London in 2016.

Those intending to propose a candidate are encouraged to contact the Award Coordinator for guidance before submitting their nomination via the contact page, by clicking the link below.
