Speaker Interview: Food Safety and the Production Environment

The Food Group recently held a joint event with IFST on the subject of food safety and the production environment.

The presentation, given by Debra Smith from Vikan, provided attendees with practical information and advice on how to select, use and maintain their cleaning equipment. Debra also described some of the scientific methodologies that have been used to investigate the efficacy of a number of different types of cleaning equipment and thus provide valuable information to the food industry via peer reviewed publications and industry guidelines.
