We were pleased to welcome more than 50 members to the 2013 Members' Forum held at the Royal College of Surgeons in London on 19 November. Organised by the Membership Affairs Committee, the event delivered a vibrant mix of updates and discussion.
We heard presentations from the communications, member recruitment and retention and hub development working parties. There were also breakout sessions, where members were given the opportunity to have their say on topics relating to how SCI can better support its members both as individuals and within their organisations. There was a poster competition for Early Career members, generously supported by Wiley. The day closed with a canapé reception at the Hunterian Museum.
