Society Awards 2015 - Nominations Now Open

1 Dec 2014

SCI has two prestigious Society Awards that are awarded to members who have made a significant contribution to SCI.

The Lampitt Medal commemorates Leslie Lampitt (1887-1957), who worked tirelessly for SCI in many roles throughout his life. The Lampitt Medal provides a means by which SCI can honour Members who have given their own gifts of time, leadership, vision and enthusiasm. The Medal is awarded to SCI members who have contributed outstandingly to more than one area of the Society's activities.

The Distinguished Service Award (DSA) is given to members of the Society who have contributed significant and sustained service to at least one element (normally a Group) in the SCI structure for an aggregate of ten years or more. The length of service, the offices held and the nature of the contribution will all be taken into account.

Nominations are now open for both awards. Please note that only service to SCI is relevant to these nominations.

So, if you know someone who you would like to see recognised for their contribution to SCI, please complete the relevant nomination form using the links below. Please refer to the related guidelines to ensure that you have provided the required information in your nomination.

Please note that the deadline for nominations is 20 February 2015.
