Introducing SCI Ambassador, Nicholas Measom

Nicholas Measom

"I would encourage my peers to join SCI because they run lots of conferences with exceptional speakers."

What are your research interests?
Medicinal Chemistry: Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry

How did you first get involved with SCI?
I first got involved with SCI by attending and presenting at SCI run conferences.

What do you hope to gain from your involvement with SCI?
I hope to build my network and my skill set by engaging with SCI and the external chemistry community. I hope to be able to provide help and assistance to SCI activities with a hope to build on some of the skills I have already developed through my career.

Why would you encourage your peers to join SCI?
SCI has allowed me to see many different academics and industrial speakers and learn about their chemistry. Additionally, I have enjoyed the public evening lectures that SCI has run and I believe these are thought provoking evenings that many people can benefit from.
