Leen is an ambitious and driven young professional who has excelled academically during her undergraduate career. She has a passion for analytical chemistry, specifically related to the inner workings of complex instrumentation and how it is used to further our knowledge in the field.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Leen has a strong commitment to education. She has experience as a math and science tutor, helping students improve their academic performance by teaching effective study methods and comprehension tactics. She also has experience working as a program assistant at SHAD Canada, where she supervised and supported high school students during a STEM programme.
Leen has showcased her proficiency in working with multidisciplinary teams through her thesis research project, sharpening her skills in teamwork and communication. She had the opportunity to present a group research project at the SOUSCC, highlighting her ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience. Leen is appreciative of the opportunity to participate in AIRLAB, a multidisciplinary course that has aided her in enhancing her research skills.
