Chair's Message
Welcome to the SCI Lipids Group webpages. The main aim of our Group is to arrange meetings on areas related to the processing and end use of Lipids including nutritional aspects. We are part of the wider European community of Lipid societies, being an active member of EuroFedLipid, which coordinates lipids related meetings across Europe. We are part of SCI’s Agri-Food Hub, and also collaborate with the Food Group.
We welcome new ideas for meetings - so if you feel that a subject is worthy of more attention, whether as an evening meeting, a full day or even two-day meeting, then please let us know or come along to our next AGM. This will take place on Friday 22 June 2012 at SCI HQ (just after the emulsions conference). If you would like to join our committee, please also feel free to contact me. The committee typically meets twice a year (usually at Belgrave Square) and also meets twice a year by teleconference.
