    Chemistry and COVID-19

With all the attention on COVID-19 and the SARS-Cov-2 virus that causes it, SCI thought it would be useful for its members to be able to explain how chemistry underpins the way the virus works, the various tests and the production of vaccines, as well as why some of the announcements by chemical companies are important.

These articles will be updated if understanding changes, and if there are points that are not clear, please contact SCI with questions and we will attempt to answer them.
