SCI is a not-for-profit publisher, delivering its charitable objective to accelerate scientific research through the promotion, curation and publishing of cutting-edge science through its portfolio of curated, peer reviewed journals.
SCI established its first journal, The Society of Chemical Industry, in 1882. Since then, the Society has launched a further seven peer-to-peer journals and is the global leader in journals focused on the translation of chemistry and related science into industry, for the benefit of society.
SCI Publishing encompasses the journals, showcasing emerging science and technologies, the industry-leading innovation magazine, Chemistry & Industry, showcasing how new technologies are being used in industry, and news and reviews published via its various digital platforms.
