SCI is delighted to launch the 2019 Bright SCIdea Challenge competition – with a prize of £5,000 for the winning team!
This is a unique opportunity for students in the UK and Republic of Ireland to develop their business skills by turning a science-based innovation into a carefully planned and costed business plan.
SCI provides entrants with a free course of exclusive video-based business training from successful businesspeople, entrepreneurs and patent lawyers, as well as advice on turning an excellent business plan into a compelling, persuasive pitch.
The teams that are selected for the Bright SCIdea Challenge final will pitch their businesses to a judging panel of experienced, successful senior businesspeople and innovators – and the winning team will walk away with £5,000! There will also be plenty of opportunity to network with a range of senior businesspeople, entrepreneurs, academics and students.
