In 2018, SCI launched the Bright SCIdea Challenge, a unique opportunity for students in the UK and Republic of Ireland to develop their business skills by turning a science-based innovation into a carefully planned and costed business plan.
We selected six teams to attend the very first Bright SCIdea Challenge final, where they pitched their businesses to a judging panel of four experienced, successful senior businesspeople and innovators – and the winning team walked away with £1,000!
Following the excellent 2018 final, which saw Team Glucoguard from UCL crowned the inaugural Bright SCIdea champions, we're getting ready for the Bright SCIdea Challenge 2019 – this time, with an even bigger prize of £5,000 for the winning team!
