This joint event will:

  • provide an opportunity to hear from a range of pest management stakeholders on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and the drivers for change in pest management technologies and practices in European agriculture and horticulture
  • bring them together with representatives from companies in different parts of the industry wishing to learn about and exploit new markets for alternatives to conventional chemical pesticides
  • incude a workshop session to hear and discuss in syndicate new technology proposals from a number of companies/organisations

The event is aimed at stakeholders in the current and new technologies and regulatory aspects of biopesticides and IPM along with the companies engaged in the manufacturing and supply chains that will be affected by changes in legislation, technology and associated farming practices and of course the farmers themselves and representative bodies from the Agricultural Sector.

Participants will be facilitated to make new contacts that might lead to both commercial and technology development partnerships, addressing new markets for biopesticides and other IPM component technologies.
