The Chair and committee members of the British Carbon Group invite members to their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 12th June, 2019 during the meeting “Atomistic Computational Studies of Carbon: A meeting to celebrate the scientific achievements of Malcolm Heggie” at the University of Sussex.
The business of the meeting is as follows:
At the 2019 AGM the Secretary must stand down and is not eligible for re-election. The Chairman, Vice-chairman and Treasurer must stand down, but are eligible for re-election. In addition four positions of ordinary Committee members fall vacant this year and nominations for these are invited.
Nominations duly proposed and seconded and with the consent of the nominee, should be received by the Honorary Secretary before June 7th, 2019 by email at pcminshall@gmail.com
SCI accessibility grants are available to support SCI members with disabilities, long term health conditions, those who require a carer, and members who are nursing parents to attend SCI events. Download an application form to apply for a grant.
SCI Members attending this meeting are able to claim CPD points.
