Wound management covers all aspects of patient care from initial injury, treatment of infection, fluid loss, tissue regeneration, wound closure to final scar formation and remodeling. This presentation will consider current approaches to wound management and then move onto discuss recent work on the design and manufacture of hydrogel based dressings by Dr Martin's anti-infective delivery research group. The three key themes for consideration are:
