Synopsis

A meeting organized by the Professional Horticulture Group South West. Speakers include; Professor Sir Ghillean Prance, former Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew who has on many occasions trekked through the Amazon jungle studying its plant life. Rob Gudge is the proprietor of Desert to Jungle, one of the UK's leading growers of Hardy exotic, architectural and specimen plants. Stephen Griffith is the curator of the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens where he takes advantage of a sheltered coastal microclimate in south Dorset to grow many sub-tropical species in the open.
