Synopsis
A meeting organized by the Professional Horticulture Group South West. Inspired by South African flower meadows, the Field of Dreams boasts over fifty species of wild flowers, jumbled together in the most fantastic way. An inspiration for designers.
East Lambrook Manor is a well renowned cottage-style garden, established in 1938 by Margery Fish, who became a well-respected author of books and articles on her specialist garden interests.
Although relatively small in size the garden is divided into many differently themed areas of pre-dominantly herbaceous species, providing interest throughout the year. The Garden was given Grade 1 status by English Heritage in 1969.
