Protein-protein interactions are fundamental to nearly all cellular processes and are interesting targets for chemical biology research and drug development. As technology improves, so does our ability to interrogate these key interactions in both healthy and disease states, helping further the development of novel tools and identify opportunities for addressing unmet clinical need.
Given the diverse range of processes PPI are involved in there is a continuous stream of innovative research – this meeting will bring together speakers from industry and academia to showcase these results.
The event is aimed at all scientists (including PhD students and those in early career), from industry and academia, with an interest in the understanding or manipulation of protein-protein interactions. This encompasses medicinal and computational chemists, structural biologists, and molecular and cell biologists.
Christian Ottmann, Eindhoven University of Technology
Louise Walport, The Francis Crick Institute
The full programme will be confirmed in due course.
SCI accessibility grants are available to support SCI members with disabilities, long term health conditions, those who require a carer, and members who are nursing parents to attend SCI events. Download an application form to apply for a grant.
