Synopsis
Concrete roofing tiles have been made at Leighton Buzzard for more than 70 years based in part on the availability of sand. In the 1940's tiles were entirely hand crafted on bespoke moulds but the industry has progressively moved to more and more automation culminating in state of the art production. Forticrete's philosophy has traditionally been to offer bespoke products that offer solutions to challenging roofing situations and this will be fully demonstrated.
The site visit will allow attendees to view the most modern concrete roof tile factory and a range of unique products and manufacturing methods that set the standard for generations to come.
A complimentary lunch will be provided.
