This event is no longer available for registration.
Founded in 1835, the Harcourt Arboretum is home to many beautiful trees from all around the World, one of the best bluebell woods in the county and a newly restored meadowland. It has a diverse and rich history, not only in its landscape but in the continued development of botany as a science. Along with the Botanic Garden it provides an essential resource to support the scientific research of the University. We will be guided round the garden by Senior Curator and former chemist, Alison Foster.
The visit will be preceded by an Open Committee Meeting of the SCI Horticulture Group and members will be welcome to join in the discussion.
The Arboretum is situated on the A4074 Oxford to Reading Road.
