Synopsis

The Chairman and Secretary of the Horticulture Group cordially invite Group members to their Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Horticulture Group AGM is an opportunity for all Group members to contribute their thoughts to the future of the Group. It will be followed by presentations by this year's winner of the David Miller Travel Bursary Award and an update from last year's winners. The papers for the Horticulture Group AGM will be available online soon.

Day 1 - 16 September 2016

11:30: Committee meeting. All Group members welcome
13:00: Sandwich Lunch
14:00: Annual General Meeting - All Group members are welcome
14:30: Presentation by the 2016 winner of the David Miller Travel Bursary Award: Season extension and increased production of home-grown strawberries for the UK strawberry industry Carrie-Anne Twitchen - University of Reading
15:30: Presentations by the 2015 winners: Benjamin Langendorf- University of York Idowu Joseph Rotifa - University of Edinburgh
16:30: End of meeting
