Synopsis

Never has it been a more exciting time to start or grow a science-backed business; the world is increasingly looking for innovative, sustainable solutions and it is no longer limited to large multinationals in finding them. But when the team is small and the marketing budget is even smaller, and when operations are dominated by product development, creating market traction and expanding the customer base can appear challenging. However, with the right focus of effort and the right evidence-based market strategy more customers can be engaged, commercial milestones can be achieved, and the potential of your business can be realised.

Join us for the first SME Academy event with guest speaker Alix Mackay, Founder of The Life Sciences Marketing Academy. Alix will be delving into buyer’s behaviour, digital marketing and adapting to your customer base, giving you the practical tools and techniques to unlock new market opportunities.

SCI’s SME Academy events deliver training, skills and experience that support businesses to grow and launch new technologies. This event is being run by SCI with support from the Science and Enterprise Group at SCI (visit SEG for more info).
