Synopsis
SCI's Day of Science and Careers is an annual event designed to showcase the wide range of career options available to those with a STEM background. The event connects university students, recent graduates, and early-career individuals with professionals working in science-based fields spanning industry, academia, IP, funding, and beyond.
A full programme of career-supporting activities will run throughout the day including panel discussions, networking sessions, employer engagement opportunities, poster presentations, and dedicated speed mentoring.
As part of the Day of Science and Careers, we will be offering a speed mentoring session during the lunch and networking break. This is a great opportunity to have a short (10-15 minute), one-on-one discussion with a trained SCI mentor. This may be a quick CV overview (if provided in advance), interview advice, how to ensure that your application stands out, or any other questions you may have. Please note that speed mentoring slots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
