Synopsis

As businesses and governments face growing pressures from climate change, resource constraints, geopolitical uncertainty and changing global supply chains, sustainability can no longer be viewed through a single lens. Building resilient systems requires understanding the connections between science, policy, economics and industry, and recognising the trade-offs that shape long-term outcomes.

Where Science Meets Business 2026 (WSMB 26) will bring together leading voices from across these sectors to explore how a systems approach can support better decision-making, strengthen resilience, and help deliver sustainable and competitive futures.

Attendees
This event will be of interest to senior strategists, policymakers, regulators, economists, scientists and decision-makers working across sustainability, innovation, industry, academia and the not-for-profit sector. WSMB 26 will bring together diverse voices operating across science, industry and policy to explore how sustainability can be measured, managed, and delivered more effectively in complex systems.
