Synopsis
The SCI Family Day event at Catalyst Science Discovery Centre, Widnes, will have a guided tour through the ever present explosion hazards of industry with many demonstrations and hands-on practical experiments.So why do explosions happen? Why are some explosions more damaging than others? With an examination of past fires and explosions we will see how events begin and return to the simplicity of the Fire Triangle.As always, science can bring insights and understanding; and we’ll have lots of fun.
