Keynote Speakers

Prof Helen Osborn, Head of Pharmacy/Chemistry at University of Reading, will talk about her work on developing drugs for cancer and diabetes amongst other things.

Dr Derek Clissold, MD of LipidEv Ltd, will talk about a new class of lipid based anti-inflammatory drugs his company is developing.

Prof Barbara Mulloy, Imperial College, will talk about how, in conjunction with FDA they tackled a serious incident of illegal contamination of Heparin (major drug used in open heart surgery).
