Synopsis
ReFood Dagenham offers businesses in London a secure closed-loop solution that converts food waste into renewable energy. This innovative process cuts carbon footprint, reduces overall food waste disposal costs by up to 47% and creates a nutrient-rich biofertiliser.
The new £32m anaerobic digestion plant is capable of processing 160,000 tonnes of food waste a year.
Programme

1.30 pm arrive on site, finishing approx 3 pm.

On arrival there will be a short presentation on the process, followed by a 30 min tour of the site, finishing with tea/coffee & biscuits.
