Now in its eighth year, Synthesis of Bioactive Molecules will take place once again in the the Analytical & Biological Chemistry Research Facility in University College Cork.
This one-day meeting, which has become ever more popular, is a joint RSC/ICI/SOCI event designed to incorporate research from both acaedmia and industry.
According to a previous review, this event was described as '...bringing together scientists from the Republic of Ireland and from Northern Ireland who have varied interests in drug discovery and development and a common interest in synthesis. The 2008 meeting was the fourth in a series and establishes the events as an 'essential' date in the Irish calendar.'
SCI accessibility grants are available to support SCI members with disabilities, long term health conditions, those who require a carer, and members who are nursing parents to attend SCI events. Download an application form to apply for a grant.
