Synopsis

The The 21st Annual Review Meeting: Advances and Innovations in Organic Synthesis organised by the SCI Young Chemists’ Panel will focus on two key areas of synthetic organic chemistry.

We have an exciting line up of leading academics who will deliver a series of lectures based on two current topics in synthesis; the development of C-O, C-N and C-C coupling reactions and the synthesis of a range of strained ring systems. The meeting will deliver a comprehensive over-view, highlighting new methods and review the latest applications and concepts in these areas. These lectures will be supported by two keynote speakers from the UK & Europe.

Attendees
The meeting is aimed at graduates and post-graduates with a background in organic synthesis and is ideally suited to those studying for a postgraduate degree or working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or agrochemical industries. A booklet will be provided to all participants containing the lecture materials as well as extensive literature references that will be an excellent resource for years to come.
