The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is the national measurement standards laboratory for the United Kingdom and is a world-leading centre of excellence in this field.
This visit will give us an opportunity to see some of the ground breaking work of this renowned institute. The tour to the electrochemistry laboratory will show the cutting-edge research of the multi-disciplinary Electrochemistry team. The presentation will highlight some of the amazing and historically important work that originated at this prestigious centre.
On the day, SCI members will also be meeting some of the world class scientists who work there. This visit should be an enjoyable and inspiring experience for all.
SCI accessibility grants are available to support SCI members with disabilities, long term health conditions, those who require a carer, and members who are nursing parents to attend SCI events. Download an application form to apply for a grant.
